Education

Currently completing 12th grade at Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences, cumulative high school GPA: 4.0. Coursework has included two trimesters of high school software development. Learned about making webpages with HTML/CSS. Second trimester taken at an Honors (AP) level, in which I worked on several projects, mostly node.js modules, including a node module for parsing network information and monitoring specific access points. Prospective C.S. major.

Experience

        Employee, InfluxData inc., San Francisco, CA. (June 2017 - August 2017)

• Spent several months working as an intern employee at InfluxData, a time series database company. Built an extension for Telegraf (http://github.com/influxdata/telegraf). Cutting edge project related to distributed tracing (https://zipkin.io/) http tracing. It was business critical, and supervised by senior developers at the company.

Programmer, Seattle Academy Varsity High School Robotics Team.

• 2017 - 2018 team leader on team 13330 Pulsar. Working on code for autonomous movement, managing team projects and seeing them through to completion.
• 2016-2017 of three lead programmers for FTC robotics team, Tesseract #2856. Worked on a library for precision movement auto correction. Won the State Championship, competing in World Championship in April 2017.

        Intern, InfluxData, San Francisco, CA.

• Completed two week internship at time series database company. Worked on tools to aid in the management and creation of documentation for products. All code was written in Go. Did additional work with database performance testing.

Student Leader, Robotics Summer Camp

• Seattle Academy Middle School SAAS Robotics summer camp. Taught middle school students the basics of Javascript and programming. Planned curriculum and activities to engage students.

Volunteer Counselor for The Mountaineers

• Assisted lead counselor in bringing 5 to 10 year old campers hiking, kayaking, and rafting.

Programming Experience:

• Experience in  C, C++ (including 30 hour intro to C++ course), Go, Javascript (including node.js), Assembly (x86), Rust, Python, Java, and C#. Comfortable with Git VC.
• Run Arch Linux as the primary operating system on my laptop. Use linux daily.

Extracurricular

• Co-leader of Seattle Academy Outdoors Club. Help to plan and lead hikes and other outdoor trips; Active member of Climbing Club and Ultimate Frisbee.
